An Improved Automatic Lipreading System to Enhance Speech Recognition

Automatic speech recognition using only the acoustic signal is unperfected and computationally expensive. Humans use the visual speech signal by lipreading or speechreading to enhance speech recognition, especially when the acoustic signal is degraded.
