An International Transport Incremental Cost Model (ITICM)
This paper describes the methodology used in the International Transport Incremental Cost Model (ITICM), a tool used by AT&T marketing planners for determining incremental network changes that arise when predicted teletraffic loads between the U.S. and other countries are modified in alternative scenarios. Since international calls must traverse the domestic network before entering the international domain, any change in the growth rates between the U.S. and other foreign countries will impact on the domestic network as well as the international one.
