Analysis of methods for strengthening conical reinforced concrete poles

All rights reserved. The article considers various methods for conical reinforced concrete poles strengthening, which allow increasing of the load-bearing capacity of these structures. Static and dynamic calculations of conical reinforced concrete poles are performed in the SCAD Office 21.1 software package. Based on this calculation, the analysis of the stress state of poles using different methods of structural reinforcement under steady loads of the pole dead load, the tower superstructure weight, the ladder-type gangway weight, and the weight of the equipment, as well as temporary loads (wind, ice), is made. The results of the analysis can be used in the rational choice of methods for strengthening conical reinforced concrete poles.
