Analysis of residual polarization of orthogonal channels for all-optical networking applications

We propose an all-optical method of polarization demultiplexing which does not require the use of tones or high speed electronics. The method uses the residual polarization of the two orthogonal channels as a feedback signal to a polarization controller.
