Analyzing Protein Structure with Neural Networks

The protein folding problem - how to predict the three-dimensional structure of a protein from its linear sequence of amino acids - has been adequately solved by traditional statistical analysis. This work considers a simple precursor of the folding problem and explores the ability of layered neural networks to provide insight into primary protein structure.
