Broadcasting in a 3-Stage Point-to-Point Nonblocking Network
Three-stage networks have been widely studied as a point-to- point network and later, also as a broadcast network. In this paper we consider using such networks for point-to-point nonblocking property and the broadcast rearrange- able property do not coexist due to different routing strategies. We propose a new routing strategy for broadcast calls which preserves the point-to-point nonblocking property, and keeps the broadcast calls almost rearrangeable when most calls are point-to-point.
