C-RAN: Discussion on processing split

This document discusses the different processing split options for fronthauling within a Cloud RAN system. This is done on the basis of an overal architecture and a virtualization concept within a baseband pool or between baseband pools. In the scope of the discussion are SOC or GPP solutions. This presentatio will be used as a contribution of ALU to the C-RAN workstream at the F2F NGMN meeting in Seaul at 21.3.2013
