Comment on 'Hydrogen Depth Profiles in Ion Implanted Magnetic Bubble Garnets'

In two recent papers, Leiberich and Wolfe reported hydrogen depth profiles of ion implanted garnet films, measured by elastic recoil analysis. Their films were implanted with Ne,N and H ions, after which (see their Fig.2(a)) a roughly Gaussian hydrogen profile was observed, with a peak concentration of about 0.5 hydrogen atoms per garnet formula unit (a.f.u.) located at 0.36microns depth, and a straggling width of 0.07microns.
