Compact Monolithic Integrated Reflective polarization diversity SOI-based fast Slot-Blocker for reconfigurable 128 Gb/s and 256 Gb/s optical networks

We demonstrate a novel fully integrated, silicon-on-insulator, 16-channel polarization diversity fast reflective slot-blocker, which contains more than 65 integrated functional elements. We assess its suitability for cost-sensitive metropolitan networks with reconfigurable connections.
