Comparison of Scheduling Algorithms for Multiple Mobile Computing Edge Clouds

European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) has developed specications for Mobile Edge Computing framework where mobile edge applications are implemented in software and hosted in clouds of servers. In this paper, we derive scheduling algorithms to tackle the resource allocation problem in a system of multiple mobile edge clouds. The performance of some algorithms and the fractional guard channel policy are investigated.
