Complex associative learning in small neural networks.

The phenomenological similarity between molluscan and mammalian conditioning results is described. A computer simulation, the LIMAX learning program, is presented with a brief description of the synaptic mechanisms it contains and information processing it performs. Future direction for LIMAX-guided Limax experiments are discussed.
