Dr. Carlos Tapia holds a PhD in Mining Engineering - Mineral Economics specializing in the use of Machine Learning and AI in mining. He is Nokia's Principal Mining Expert, based in Brisbane, Australia. With 15+ years of experience in mining, software, technology development, research and investment, Carlos brings a comprehensive experience in the technical, technological and business aspects of the mining industry to support Nokia's customers by translating mining, automation and AI constrains into feasible and efficient telecommunication networks and solutions beyond connectivity.
