Óscar Pérez, Europe Business Applications Presales Head at Nokia

Oscar Perez leads the European Business Application Presales force relying on Nokia's portfolio linked to Digital Operations, Monetization, Security Products, AI, and the set of Analytics Products. All of this with the clear objective of creating software that connects the network with the cloud in the digital ecosystem, allowing a better user experience and network monetization. His ambition is to create new opportunities for service providers, large enterprise customers, developers and webscalers. Prior to Nokia, Oscar was Ericsson OSS/BSS pre-sales leader for LATAM market based in Miami, USA for 7 years and has previously held leadership positions at Bosch Telecom Spain, Marconi Spain and Ericsson Spain in engineering, operations, pre-sales, and sales.

He has a Technical Engineering in Telecommunications from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and an Executive Education in Product Marketing from the ESIC Business & Marketing School at Madrid

Atul Purohit, Nokia Cloud & Network Services Head of Technology for Europe

Atul is Nokia Cloud & Network Services Head of Technology for Europe, working closely with Europe’s leading communication service providers on future growth strategies. He also leads Nokia’s global go-to-market program for Network as Code – helping CSPs increase the programmability of their networks – and enabling application developers to create new API-based enterprise services. Atul brings 20 years of experience in the ICT sector and has played various roles with CSPs, System Integrators and ISVs across multiple geographies. Prior to joining Nokia, Atul has worked with Vodafone Group in the UK, where he had served multiple roles, as a Senior Manager for Network Automation Strategy, in Cloud & Automation CoE and as Principal Enterprise Architect for Service Management working on multiple strategies like network as a platform, orchestration, analytics and assurance areas. Atul was also the chair of End User Advisory Group at Linux Foundation Networking, serving a group of over 23 CSPs, and acting as a collective advisory to the board on various end user agendas of LFN projects like ONAP and has authored various thought leadership papers and presided multiple sessions. Prior to Vodafone, Atul spent nearly a decade working for various LoBs at British Telecom as an External Consultant and has worked with Avaya and Nortel Networks at the beginning of his career. Atul is a Telecommunications Engineer and holds an MBA.

He leads a global team developing an advanced network automation platform that seamlessly integrates AI, SDN, automation, slicing, orchestration, network assurance, and analytics.
