Practical Information
Climate
Phoenix in September offers warm, sunny weather, making it a great time to visit for a conference. Average daytime temperatures range from 85°F to 100°F (29°C to 38°C), while evenings are slightly cooler, providing a comfortable setting for outdoor activities. With low humidity and minimal rainfall, attendees can expect clear skies and plenty of sunshine throughout their stay. Light, breathable clothing is recommended for daytime, while a light jacket may be useful for indoor conference spaces with air conditioning.
Currency
The currency in Phoenix is the US Dollar ($).
Dress Code
The dress code for SReXperts 2025 is business casual.
Electricity/Voltage
Phoenix, like the rest of the United States, operates on a standard electrical voltage of 120 volts AC at a frequency of 60 Hz. This voltage is compatible with most North American appliances and electronics; however, travellers from countries with different voltage standards, such as 220-240 volts, may need a voltage converter or transformer to safely use their devices in Phoenix. Additionally, most outlets in Phoenix accommodate two- or three-pronged plugs with flat blades, so international travelers may also require plug adapters to fit their devices into the outlets. It is recommended to bring an international adaptor as the hotel is limited in converters.
Visas
A citizen of a foreign country who seeks to enter the United States generally must first obtain a U.S. visa, which is placed in the traveller’s passport, a travel document issued by the traveller’s country of citizenship. Certain international travellers may be eligible to travel to the United States without a visa if they meet the requirements for visa-free travel. For the most up-to-date information on visa and entry requirements to the United Stated, please click here.
If you require an official Nokia invitation letter to apply for a visa, please contact your Nokia representative to request support.
For Nokia staff, please follow the instructions on the event intranet.
