Hotel Reservations

All registrants who have requested accommodation as part of their registration will receive a detailed hotel reservation confirmation email from our delegate registration partner, Conference Works. 

All reservations for guests without credit cards, with invalid credit cards or incorrect credit card details will not be confirmed by the Hotel.

Check-in and Check-out Times

The standard check-in time is from 15:00 PM on your day of arrival and the hotel’s check-out time is 12:00 PM on your day of departure. Additional charges will apply should you require early arrival or late check-out.

Cancellation of Bedroom Reservation

Should you need to cancel a reservation please contact the SReXperts 2023 Events Team. Please do not contact the hotel directly.

Bedroom reservations can be cancelled without penalty up to and including 27 September 2023. Should you cancel your reservation after that date and your room cannot be resold, the hotel reserves the right to charge for the duration of your intended stay as cancellation fees. In the case of no-show, the hotel will also charge for the duration of your intended stay as cancellation fees. 

Transportation to the Shangri-La Singapore

Arriving by Plane 

Delegates will land at Singapore Changi International Airport which is approximately 18.9km from the Shangri-La Singapore hotel.

Taxis are readily available in front of the terminal at the airport. The average cost for a taxi from the airport to the Hotel will be approximately SGD $30.00, and depending on the time of day you arrive, the average travel time will be approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

Arriving by Car

Parking

Onsite parking is available at the hotel. Parking is charged at $18.00 SGD per day

MRT

If you are travelling to the hotel by mass-rapid transport (MRT), please alight at Orchard Station and board our hotel shuttle bus (Orchard Station Exit B).

Visas

At this current time all travellers to Singapore are required to complete a health declaration prior to travel. Please continue to check these requirements as this information may change in line with government health restrictions. Most visitors to Singapore are granted visa-free entry. However, nationals of some countries must first obtain a visa before being allowed into the country. All visitors must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months.

Singapore in October/November is hot and humid with high changes of rainfall. 

Average Daily Temperature: 25 degrees to 31 degrees Celsius

Rainfall: Around 15-20 days in October/November months are visited by rain, thunder and lightning, which makes the weather quite humid during this time.

The currency in Singapore is the Singapore Dollar (SGD)

The dress code for SReXperts 2023 is business casual.  

Electricity/Voltage

For Singapore there are three associated plug types C, G and M. Plug type C is the plug which has two round pins, plug type G has three rectangular pins in a triangular pattern and type M is the plug that has three round pins. Singapore operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz.
