Arriving by plane 

Shangri-La Jakarta is approximately 45 minutes from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.  Guests can choose between hotel limousine pick-up and taxi, provided by the hotel’s transportation partner.

You can book an airport pick-up by providing your flight details and estimated time of arrival when booking online. You may also contact Shangri-La Jakarta directly at least four hours in advance. Taxis

Taxis are easily available at the Soekarno-Hatta airport immediately after exiting the arrivals gate.

Parking

Valet Parking  is available at IDR 150,000 net/car exclude parking fee. The first 2 hours are IDR 10,000 net/car and after that every hour IDR 5,000 net/car.

Self Parking is located at the hotel. The first 2 hours are IDR 10,000 net/car and after that every hour IDR 5,000 net/car.

May is typically a hot and humid month, with an average temperature of 28.4°C (83°F). Daily lows generally reach 24.2°C (75.6°F), while highs peak at 32.6°C (90.6°F).

Currency

The currency in Jakarta is Indonesian Rupiahs (IDR). The currency symbol is Rp.

Dress Code

The dress code for Wavelengths 2025 is business casual.   

Electricity/Voltage

The standard voltage throughout Indonesia is normally 230 V and with a standard frequency of 50 Hz.  Most power plugs and sockets in Indonesia are type C and F. This plug is the 2 pin socket and plug design which is the standard European plug. If you're coming from a country that does not use this type of sockets, you should bring an adapter.

Visas

You can apply for an e-Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) no later than 48 hours prior to travelling to Indonesia if you are travelling for tourism, business meetings, purchasing goods or transiting only. Check the e-VOA requirements from Indonesian Immigration before applying.  You can still apply for a regular Visa on Arrival (VOA) at certain international airports, seaports and land crossings.

All visitors must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months.
