Open your world with our job opportunities
Our journey in Canada began in 1989 with the start of Newbridge Networks headquartered out of Kanata North, the tech hub of Ottawa, Ontario. Through acquisitions and mergers, the name has evolved from Alcatel to Alcatel-Lucent and in 2016, was taken over by Nokia to focus and become an industry leader in data networking.
We now have over 2300 employees across the nation, and the Ottawa campus continues to be one of the largest hi-tech sites in the area. Today, the main business groups include Network Infrastructure and Cloud & Network Services driving products and investments in leading telecommunication technologies such as Core Routing, High-Speed Optics and Cloud Software focused on 5G Networks.

Life at Nokia Canada
Brand launch
Nokia Canada celebrated our new brand across the campus which was kicked off with enchanting Indigenous performances, an update on the future of our new campus and celebrating Nokia’s involvement in the community. With 532 students joining us in 2023, as well as StrongHer, DARE & EQUAL! events in our community, Nokia’s future is bright.
Volunteering at Algonquin College
As part of the Dare6 initiative, a group of employees from Ottawa recently volunteered at Algonquin College, dedicating their time to landscaping, painting, and weeding. The experience was both meaningful and impactful, providing an opportunity to learn about Indigenous culture while giving back to the community.
