Wrocław
Technology Center in Wrocław employs around 5,000 people, making it the largest Research and Development institution in the ICT sector in Poland, and one of the three biggest Nokia technology centers in the world. Our engineers work on software for telecommunications systems, spanning from the concept and research phase to the definition of the architecture.
Nokia Wrocław hosts a unique R&D Nokia Laboratory. Across 10,000 square meters, one can find all radio technologies and the latest generation equipment to test their capabilities. The most recent facility, WrOTA, houses an anechoic chamber, representing the debut of this equipment category in Poland.
Specialists from Wrocław prepare implementation scenarios and draft standards for LTE-Advanced and 5G technologies. Due to the presence of the automated environment and the utilization of the remote testing system, the Wrocław laboratory is utilized by other Nokia technology centers around the world in a 24-hour mode.

Technology Center in Kraków employs around 1200 specialists with diverse backgrounds and expertise. Our TC is made of people acting together, fueled by passion for creating technology of the future. We specialize in the research and development of radio technologies for our customers around the world. We work on the latest solutions, including both 5G and 6G.
The 3,000 square meters R&D laboratory in Krakow is equipped with 20,000 pieces of base station test equipment enclosed in 800 telecom cabinets. There are more than 100 tunnels and chambers for testing, with test lines that replicate the client environment. On a daily basis, we work with cutting-edge technologies: C, C++, Python, Eclipse, Jira, SCRUM, Jenkins, Cloud, Machine Learning, DevOps, Agile, Testing, MS Power BI, VBA, SVN, Robot, Git, FPGA, DSP, OpenStack, LTE, 5G, 6G. Solutions developed by our engineers are used by people all over the world.
As an R&D facility, we focus on spreading knowledge and the latest solutions. We cooperate with universities all over Poland, and our employees give classes to students. We also sponsor and build laboratories in universities so that students can get practical knowledge and skills. So far, our labs are available to students from the AGH University of Science and Technology, the Silesian University of Technology, and the Military University of Technology in Warsaw.
Technology Center in Bydgoszcz employs over 1,000 specialists, making it a leading employer in the city and region. Our team works on technologies used in Signaling, Multimedia, Media Transcoding and Network Security products. In Bydgoszcz, we develop innovative, cloud native products for VoLTE, IMS, 5G and VoX.
We adapt the latest open-source solutions for DevOps and SaaS. We transform Customer’s IP, Optics, PSTN and BB Networks from legacy to NextGen technologies end-to-end, including strategy, design, automation, test & validation, transition, and final delivery. We also provide network services like Nodal Migration, IP Modernization, Industrialized Network Rollout and Integration, Upgrades & Network Refresh, and Site Engineering.
Nokia Bydgoszcz provides cloud/Kubernetes lab environments to our Nokia R&D and Services teams across the globe. These are some of the most advanced virtual laboratories in Poland (Cloud Networks and Services & Network Infrastructure). Our labs are up and running 24/7/365 and are accessed by thousands of users every day.
Nokia trained and certified Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology’s lecturers in two courses: Nokia Scalable IP Networks and Nuage Networks Virtualized Network Services (VNS) Fundamentals. Since 2020, WSB Merito University in partnership with Nokia has been conducting postgraduate studies in IT, targeted to women.
