Jose Escobar

Biography

Jose Escobar is a Managing Partner leading the Education Domain within Verizon’s Business Development and Strategic Initiatives group. In this role, Jose is responsible for the overall growth and strategy of the education business within Verizon’s Public Sector organization. In collaboration with an ecosystem of internal and external partners, education, government and industry leaders, he works with Education institutions helping to solve for digital equity, remote and personalized learning, enhancing student experiences and digital transformation. Jose previously led the national business development efforts for Verizon’s Smart Communities organization, focused on solving challenges associated with Sustainability, Public Safety and Transportation. Jose worked with state, local and education leaders in support to address their increasingly complex business challenges.
