Celebrating Integrity Day at Nokia
What is Integrity Day?
We dedicate one day each year to reflect as a company on Nokia’s unwavering commitment to adhere to the highest standards of business ethics and to celebrate our distinction as one of the “World’s Most Ethical Companies.” Customers and partners want to work with a company they can trust. We recognize that integrity is critical to our continued success and growth, and Integrity Day serves as a reminder of its importance.
Who takes part in the celebration?
Senior leaders, employees, customers, and partners all come together to talk about their experiences and to hopefully learn something new every year. It’s a day when both our legal and compliance teams and our business leaders, internal and external, share their perspectives with employees about the importance of integrity, respect, trust and a strong ethical culture.
How do we celebrate?
One of the highlights of the day is the global panel discussion we conduct with some of our most senior leaders that enables our employees to connect and engage directly on topics relating to integrity. We also conduct local events around the globe, providing employees with opportunities to meet their local legal and compliance representatives, take part in discussions, and participate in fun activities, such as games with prizes. Another crucial component of the event is recognizing and rewarding employees who have exhibited exemplary ethical behavior by going above and beyond to safeguard and promote a culture of integrity. While highlighting the importance of ethics and integrity as defining elements of our culture, we have some fun, share experiences, and learn from each other.
