Nokia and Google Fiber first in the U.S. to trial 50G PON speeds over live fiber broadband network
Nokia helps GFiber Labs set another first in the U.S. with 50G PON technology trial.
Trial builds on previously announced 25G PON deployment, giving GFiber the flexibility to add future 50Gb/s broadband services using the same fiber.
Nokia is the only vendor supporting all next-generation PON technology options, allowing operators to choose the right strategy for their needs and business case.

This test with Nokia builds on the 25G PON deployment we announced together last year, paving the way for future improvements to our network that enhance customer experience in terms of speed, reliability, innovation and support for future business cases that have yet to be defined."
