Thales and Nokia partner to deliver seamless renewal to London Underground
Thales, with its transmission network technology partner, Nokia, has been selected by Transport for London (TfL) to deliver an integrated communications renewal to support the Connect system.
This renewal will allow TfL’s multi-services network (MSN), which hosts the Connect system and handles radio, transmission and operational CCTV technology used by TfL staff, to function optimally and minimise costs. Ensuring a data-backed, integrated and timely update – such as this one spearheaded by Thales and Nokia – proactively addresses upgrades with minimal disruption to passenger journeys.
