The Nokia Network Routing Specialist II (NRS II) certification builds on the foundational knowledge established in the NRS I certification.
The goal of NRS II training is to provide students with a strong foundation in the core aspects of Nokia service routing, including internet routing protocols, IP/MPLS networks, and implementing Nokia layer 2 and layer 3 services.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the NRS II, students will:
Acquire a thorough working knowledge of IP routing protocols, IP/MPLS protocols and networking, VPN and VPLS services, basic OAM techniques, and various resiliency techniques.
Understand the Nokia network and services architecture and how to utilize it for delivering residential and business communication services.

How to certify
The NRS II certification requires candidates to pass four multiple-choice exams, with a choice of IS-IS or OSPF routing protocol exams, and one 3.5-hour practical lab exam. You must complete all the mandatory multiple-choice exams before you can challenge the lab exam.
Candidates also have the option to do a composite exam that includes all four multiple-choice exams in one. There are two composite exam versions, one for IS-IS and one for OSPF; only one is required.
Are you eligible for exemptions?
If you have already received an IP knowledge certification from one of the organizations identified here, and your certification is still valid, you may be eligible for one or more exam exemptions toward the NRS II.
You can choose between our recommended instructor-led training, self-study materials, and My SR Learning Labs to acquire the knowledge to pass the exams. We also offer a self-study certification bundle that includes everything you need. Training is not required to attempt the exams.

Your status will change in the Student Portal to show that you are certified. In addition, you will be able to download and print your diploma, and you will receive an email from Credly to claim your digital certification badge.
