7750 SR applications

Leveraging feature-rich SR OS capabilities, the versatile 7750 SR supports the full array of IP routing applications in service provider, webscale and enterprise networks including:

Edge router

Delivers highly scalable service enablement for demanding mobile, residential broadband and business VPN services.

Peering router

Establish direct 400GE/800GE connections with multiple internet exchange points (IXPs), internet service providers (ISPs), and content delivery networks (CDNs).

Multi-Access Gateway (MAG)

Converged delivery of wireline (BNG) and fixed-wireless broadband (FWG) services on a single broadband edge platform.

Core router / Backbone router

7750 SR-s series

  • Designed for locations requiring high-density 10GE to 800GE interfaces for demanding applications, the FP5- and FP4-based 7750 SR-s offers fixed-configuration and modular chassis options, with scalable capacities ranging from 2.4 Tb/s FD to 216 Tb/s FD — and up to 230 Tb/s FD with intelligent aggregation (IA) — along with full redundancy options. It features universal QSFP-DD and SFP-DD connectors, support for a wide range of DCOs, and flexible optical breakouts.

7750 SR series

It features a variety of connectors and ports, including QSFP-DD, QSFP28, SFP28, SFP+ and cSFP, as well as flexible optical breakouts.
