The Nokia 5G RAN Expert Certification continues the certification journey supporting engineers as their experience grows, allowing them to improve their expertise. It is designed for both the experienced 5G radio engineer who have successfully passed the Nokia 5G RAN Professional Certification. It builds on the knowledge & skill blocks established by the professional certification developing further daily product skills needed successfully complete more advanced field, operational & radio design tasks.
These certifications build on the solid foundation from the professional level allow engineers to develop their expertise further in their chosen field.
Nokia Certified 5G RAN Field Operations Expert Key Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Nokia 5G RAN Field Operations Expert, field engineer personnel will be able to apply the local operations to a 5G Radio Access Network as a technology in an on-the-field environment. They will be able to connect to the Nokia 5G RAN products & solutions, apply commissioning parameters, retrieve the node’s faults and alarms, manage 5G Base station software, apply locally on-the-field resolution tasks piloted remotely by a technical support team.
Nokia Certified 5G RAN Network Operations Expert Key Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Nokia 5G RAN Network Operations Expert, Network Operation Center personnel will be able to apply the remote operations to a 5G Radio Access Network as a technology in a typical operations center environment. They will be able to connect to the Nokia 5G RAN products & solutions, retrieve their faults and alarms, apply standard parameters configuration changes and manage 5G Base station software.
Nokia Certified 5G RAN Design Expert Key Learning Outcomes
Successful students will be able to perform basic link budget, and cell range calculations. They will be able provide site count estimations based on common inputs and provide guidance on air interface & baseband dimensioning, perform initial parameter definition for 4G to 5G, and 5G to 5G neighbour relationships, and Explain key radio algorithms and functions at parameter level.
Nokia Certified 5G RAN Optimisation Expert Key Learning Outcomes
Students completing this certification will have be able to explain algorithms and functions at parameter level and propose suitable optimisation values. They will perform key optimization tasks in relation to basic RF performance, accessibility, retainability and user experience, thus helping to ensure the desired customer experience is delivered by the network operator.
