Course overview
This instructor-led workshop is intended to familiarize and practice personnel transitioning to using the Classic Management NFM-P GUI to complete the workflows to successfully create the managed domain and deploy a basic IP/MPLS network and basic e2e Ethernet services. Learners will also become familiar with configuring, executing, and view OAM test results.
- Understanding of the SR OS CLI (Command Line Interface) to configure and validate hardware, IRP, MPLS and basic Ethernet services. (not enforced)
- More detailed learning for using the Classic Management NFM-P GUI please refer to NSP Classic Management NFM-P: GUI Operations | OS00047-V-1900 (not enforced)
Course objectives
The learner will be able to:
- Create the NFM-P managed domain
- Configure node hardware and prepare interfaces to participate in creating IRP route tables
- Configure and validate IP routing within the managed domain
- Configure and validate MPLS LSP within the managed domain
- Configure and validate basic, distributed (multi-site) Ethernet services within the managed domain
