Course overview

This course is a 30/70 combination of theoretical and hands-on lab exercises intended for those personnel responsible for preparing the Classic Management NFM-P for operations, including: creating and ensuring the integrity of the managed network domain; and, managing system-wide settings. System-wide settings, include: user security; managing user access to managed objects through workspaces; and alarms management policies.

Course objectives

The learner will be able to:

  • Explain the managed network domain
  • Demonstrate resynchronization process between Classic Management NFM-P server and managed network element
  • Create personalized workspaces and validate the results of deploying workspaces

 

 

  • Explain the components required to create user accounts
  • Explain the results of assigning user account permissions
  • Explain user account management
  • Explain track user activity and actions
