Nokia OSPF Routing Protocol
Course number: OP00061
Course duration: 3 days
Price: €2,400
Course overview
This course examines the operation and use of the standards-based Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) routing protocol. The course begins with a review of IP routing and the different methods available to populate the routing table. It briefly covers static routing and covers the OSPF routing protocol in detail. It also covers concepts such as route redistribution, route filtering, equal-cost multipath (ECMP) routing, bidirectional forwarding detection (BFD), and IP fast re-route based on loop-free alternative (LFA) paths. Configuration of both IPv4 and IPv6 routing is included. All use cases and lab exercises are based on the model-driven command-line interface (MD-CLI). Upon completion of this course, students will be able to explain the operation of OSPF and be able to configure and verify complex networks using the OSPF protocol.
It is strongly recommended to have completed the Nokia IP Networks and Services Fundamentals course. Alternatively, it is recommended to have working knowledge of Ethernet and IP routing, and familiarity with the model-driven command-line interface of the service router operating system (SR OS MD-CLI).
Nokia Network Routing Specialist II (NRS II)
Acquire Nokia IP/MPLS service routing expertise.
Nokia Service Routing Architect (SRA)
Master the knowledge and skills to design and support high performing Nokia Service Router networks.
