The 1830 GX Series provides industry-leading flexibility in an open compact modular solution, with support for transponder, switchponder and OLS in a single platform. With 300-mm and 600-mm chassis options, it can be optimized for virtually any application, from DCI and metro to long-haul and subsea. With seamless support for multiple generations of optical engines, from 200G through 2.4 Tb/s (2 x 1.2 Tb/s per wavelength), as well as game-changing Super C and Super L functionality, the 1830 GX solution provides industry-leading economics and unmatched network scalability with up to 100 Tb/s of capacity per fiber.

Leveraging the latest optical line system technology, the 1830 GX OLS provides transmission capabilities across the entire Super C- and Super L-bands. The result is a solution that provides >25% more capacity per fiber than traditional extended C-band solutions without compromising performance.
