Atefeh Mohajeri Moghaddam

Biography

Atefeh is a member of Modeling and Optimization group. She is a mathematician by training. During her Ph.D. she worked on problems at the intersection of group theory and computational complexity. At Nokia Bell Labs, she is applying learning techniques to various problems; She has been investigating Deep Reinforcement Learning approaches for robot navigation. She also works on 3D modeling for digital twin creation in the context of industrial monitoring.  On the theoretical side, she is interested in interpretability and generalizability properties of Deep Reinforcement Learning models.
