Biography

Joaquin is a partner with Bell Labs Consulting and Lead of the Business and Services Strategy practice. Passionate about technology as a means to drive strategic innovation and achieve competitive advantage, Joaquin specialized early in his management & strategy consulting career in the Telecoms industry. He has an international career focus and brings 18+ years of experience and multicultural leadership having consulted on a wide variety of strategic challenges for 25+ operators across all inhabited continents. Prior to joining Bell Labs Consulting, Joaquin held several business consulting roles within the Cloud and Multimedia product lines at Alcatel-Lucent. He has also worked as a Management & Strategy consultant at Greenwich Consulting and Accenture .

CompetenciesJoaquin is an expert in strategic analysis of emerging technologies and innovative services. His skill set includes opportunity analysis, strategic planning, innovation strategy, Go-to-Market strategies, and process reengineering. He also leads Accelerated Strategy Workshops (ASWs), an innovative framework guiding customers to unlock creativity for resolving non-linear grand challenges; compressing complex analysis, workstreams and decisions from multiple-months into days; enabling dispersed, cross-functional and 3rd party stakeholders to input to the problem statement and shape final output/desired outcomes; galvanizing commitment to the problem statement and certainty to future implementation plans.
