Biography

Kamakshi L K is with standardization and research team, Nokia Solution and Networks, Espoo where she is involved with the 5G advanced and 6G back-office research in the areas of Network energy savings, Spectrum aggregation and Spectrum sharing. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications from The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore. Prior to joining Nokia, she has worked with L&T Infotech and Wipro Technologies in India and leading various customer facing projects and also associated with CTO research. She has over 20 years of experience in telecommunications, both on wireline protocols like SS7, SIP, VoIP and wireless technologies like CDMA, WiMAX, LTE and 5G. She has a wide range of experience in research and software architecture and development related to MAC sublayer, CSI processing and massive MIMO scheduling and RAN virtualization. She has been associated with Universities in Mysore and Bangalore and delivered lectures on LTE.
