Biography
Olivier Audouin is the site leader of Bell Labs France and director of research partnerships. He is also chairman of the hub “Digital infrastructure” of Business Cluster “Systematic Paris–Region”, member of the boards of Eureka RD&I Clusters ITEA on software innovation and CELTIC-NEXT on next-generation communications for a secured, trusted, and sustainable digital society.
Olivier Audouin was graduated from the electronics and software engineering school ENSEIRB in Bordeaux in 1988. He joined Alcatel in 1989 and worked on the design of transoceanic optical links for several years. In 2001, he started leading a group “transport network architecture” in Alcatel Research & Innovation, and became in July 2004 responsible for the local team working for “packet Transport Infrastructure” Alcatel research project. Between 2006 and 2009 he coordinated the collaborative project CARRIOCAS dedicated to high bit rate optical networks for high performance distributed applications, in the frame of SYSTEMATIC competitivity cluster. Since 2009, he has been Director of External Affairs at Nokia Bell Labs France, in charge of coordinating research partnerships and relations with the various collaborative ecosystems.
