Biography
Olivier Delaby is currently Researcher in Autonomous Networks, SDSR division at Bell Labs. He is member of a team working on domain-driven and AI/ML based automation of monitoring and operation of communication networks. Olivier is Electrical Engineer graduated at University of Louvain-la-Neuve in Belgium. Olivier has been working in IT and telecom domain since 1996, at application level and in multiple roles (developer, doc writer, designer, architect, solution architect, team leader). He joined Alcatel in 2005, then Nokia in 2016 after Nokia merged with Alcatel, where he occupied multiple but always technical positions and roles (supervision and payment of mobile calls, IoT platform, broadband networks monitoring solutions). In 2016 he started working on solutions for the monitoring of Passive Optical Networks, that was mainly about analytics at the beginning but then progressively moved towards AI/ML. He's now working for Nokia Bell Labs on AI based features aimed at automation and optimization of broadband networks.
