Biography

Ray Miller is a researcher in the End-to-End Mobile Video research department within the Wireless Research domain.  He has 27 years of experience in the research and development of leading edge network and wireless communications technologies.  He joined Bell Labs in 1997 and has had responsibilities and duties in a large range of telecommunication technologies including core optical, metro Ethernet, and 4G wireless systems.  His latest efforts include techniques for improving video delivery over 4G/5G end-to-end wireless networks including advanced scheduling of video over the wireless link and multi-carrier resource allocation.
