Biography
Ronald is a Principal Consultant in Bell Labs Consulting’s Operations and Transformation Practice. His current focus is on automation and autonomous networks and green initiatives. Other projects being worked on dealt with optimizing the care organization for technical aspects, TCO analysis of fixed network transformation for an European incumbent, an operations assessment for a major Middle East operator and acting as engagement lead and main contributor for an IP resiliency project covering operations as well as network topics, for a major Asian operator. Ronald also acted as engagement lead and main contributor in an operations assessment & benchmarking engagement with a major southern US operator.
Additionally Ronald contributed significantly to several projects supporting operators in their evolution towards SDN/NFV, covering operational, financial and security aspects as well as covering the operations aspect for the development of a new business model for an African operator.
Before joining Bell-Labs Consulting, he was working at Nokia’s Core and Network Services organization as a senior Project Manager and with Alcatel-Lucent Managed Services, which provided great insights into operational details of many different organizations. He also worked for more than 10 years for an Austrian operator, responsible for Network Rollout, Transmission as well as managing selected projects in these areas. He was a main contributor to Strategy and Business Plan Development in the Network area. Ronald was also one of the main interfaces to the Managed Services Partner, responsible for several domains and major contributor to contract extensions.
