Biography

I am a Networking Researcher with hands-on experience and knowledge of a broad range of technologies from access to core segments of the network. Currently focusing on the fixed-mobile network convergence (FMC) and joint resource allocation using SDN/NFV techniques in the context of 5G network architectures and PON technologies.

In the past I have worked on designing and building high-speed packet processing pipelines using FPGAs as well as intelligent control software for packet-optical networks using opensource SDN controller platforms.

My research interests are in the fields of Multi-technology Converged Network Architectures, Unified Resource Allocation, Network Algorithms/Optimization, Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV)
