Stefan Wilhelm

Biography

BACKGROUND

Stefan is the Managing Partner and Head of Bell Labs Consulting and a member of the Technology Leadership Team at Nokia. Based in San Francisco, Stefan has over 20 years of leadership and management experience in the global communications and tech industries. Prior to joining Nokia Bell Labs, he worked at Detecon where he was the managing partner for over ten years and a member of the executive team. Most recently, he served as CEO of Detecon Inc. in Silicon Valley. Stefan previously spent ten years at the Deutsche Telekom Group, holding several senior positions including Vice President of Group Strategy.

COMPETENCIES

Stefan has deep insights into the evolution and intersection of the worlds of network infrastructure and cloud, in roles ranging from strategy, business development, product launch and partnering, with P&L responsibility. He has a record in designing and executing high-impact strategies around connectivity infrastructure, edge cloud and 5G telecom cloud. Stefan was responsible for large strategy transformation projects, M&A and company restructuring.
