What does this mean for me as a supplier?
With Candex, you can quickly and easily accept orders, submit invoices, and get paid without having to wait weeks or even months and invest significant resources.
Nokia uses Candex for all its non-strategic purchases and for new vendors. While this choice is made for you, it means you get to work with Nokia with a much simpler and faster process. The conditions remain identical and are Nokia’s General Terms and Conditions for Purchasing.
How does it work?
Step 1 - Receiving a Purchase Order (PO)
When Nokia wants to make a purchase, they send a Purchase Order (PO) to CANDEX for an authorized amount. As a supplier, you will receive an email notification with the details of the PO.
Step 2 - Registration and Acceptance
To proceed, you need to register on the CANDEX platform and accept the purchasing terms set by Nokia. This involves providing your bank details and agreeing to CANDEX's terms of use.
Step 3 - Submitting Invoices
Once registered, you can upload your invoice to CANDEX for up to the authorized amount. Important: The invoice should be addressed to CANDEX and be recent. For tax reasons, Candex cannot pay invoices addressed to Nokia, or invoices older than two weeks.
Step 4 - Payment Process
CANDEX will then verify your invoice and invoice Nokia on your behalf. The payment terms are typically 30 days from the date CANDEX invoices Nokia. Once CANDEX receives the payment from Nokia, they will remit the funds to you within three business days, minus a transaction fee.
Tracking and Support
You can track the status of your orders and payments through the CANDEX platform. If there are any issues or delays with payments, CANDEX will work diligently with Nokia and communicate frequently with you to resolve the problem promptly.
